January 2026

hello folks! this blog will open a door into the forefront and in my personal opinion, natural element of the south coast of Ireland has amazing beaches along its waters. Cork the county is one the largest in Ireland.. the total  beaches co. Cork 29 approximately, And crazy to think on the door step of east cork we have great section of beaches at our reach. Taking a spin on the road down to the beaches the glow shining in your window, the feeling of the sea area getting closer. i think we can take the beach for granted sometimes, maybe don't know its tough because you grow up with a beach not far from you.   automatic when its shining sunny, ha the odd day in when its hot and sunny  the same time you take those  moment when you can because can be rare but have to admit recent summers for us Irish nearly better here at home instead of our counties wind patterns you never you could get some luck. We can all agree that beaches of cork have magic a  energy when you step foot on the beach the sand the ocean the wide view. inviting with a scene for some locals say you just cant beat the beach! tourist would have print in there mind reminding them of the feeling of mother nature at her best. Irish sea fairies travel from bay to bay coast to coast beach to beach trading, teaching ,and upcycling sharing the energy of the land we all call home Ireland.

best time to visit the beach

We love to go in the spring the weather is a bit better and it feels so fresh and the sun shine is amazing this time  of year we do also visit in the winter maybe just as much as the weather here in Ireland can be very wet and windy and not the nicest. We love to go from February to march and really enjoy the new birds flying in and seen all there babies. This is also when we get a lot of high ties and with that their is so much gets washed up. We have found a lot of plastic bottle tops ,shoes, milk cartons, plastic wrappers, old fishing nets, fishing rope also we found old locks and keys too. Its amazing the things we  have found and cleared from the beach. We love to visit when the tied has just gone out we get to spend about 3 hours without worrying too much about the tied coming back in we always have plenty of time to walk and spend time out exploring ..This is our first Blog So Please give us time to build this very special place to share some of our stories and news with you all thank you From Irish Sea Fairies
